Because we utilize a global fulfillment system, please review our policy regarding processing and shipping times to set clear expectations.

1. Order Processing Time
All orders placed on the Michael & Catherine website are processed and prepared for shipment by our dedicated fulfillment partner.

Our goal is to process and ship out almost all orders in 5-7 business days or less from the time you place your order. This processing time is separate from the shipping/transit time.

Why Processing Takes Time: Our Fulfillment Commitment
Since we specialize in curating high-quality items and do not hold mass inventory, our fulfillment team purchases your item directly from the factory only after your order is placed. This method allows us to maintain a diverse selection of jewelry.

The standard fulfillment process includes several quality assurance steps:

Product Acquisition: Our team purchases your item directly from the factory.

Warehouse Receiving: The product is shipped to our dedicated warehouse in China.

Quality Check: Our Quality Team inspects every product to ensure it meets the Michael & Catherine standards for defect-free quality.

Custom Packaging: Your item is packaged carefully, including your custom branded thank you card and premium packaging (box or polybag) to ensure a high-end presentation upon arrival.

Shipment: Your shipping label is printed and the order is handed off to the carrier (UPS, FedEx, DHL, or other carriers).

2. Potential Delays and Unknown Variables (Managing Expectations)
While we strive for quick turnaround, there are rare circumstances, generally outside of our control, that can cause a delay in the 3-day processing window:

Factory Out of Stock: When we place the purchase order with the factory, the item may be temporarily out of stock and undergoing a new production run. Factories do not provide real-time inventory counts, which can lead to unavoidable delays while new materials are being produced.

Inbound Shipping Delay: There may be a short delay in the factory's shipment of the goods to our fulfillment warehouse for the quality check and packaging stages.

Unknown Variables Clause: In addition to these direct fulfillment delays, the transit time after shipment is subject to numerous factors outside of our control. These variables include, but are not limited to, customs processing times in the destination country, national postal service delays, weather events, and peak holiday seasons. We are unable to provide exact delivery guarantees due to the nature of international shipping.

3. Shipping Transit Time
The transit time (the time it takes for the package to reach you after it has been processed and shipped) will vary based on your location and the selected shipping method at checkout.

Shipping Time: Our estimated transit time is between 3 - 30 business days once the order has been shipped.
